Learning outcomes
The course is intended to provide the basis for the treatment of disease by regulation of the diet.
Course contents
1.deepen the knowledge on the prevalence, pathogenesis, and clinical characteristics of main nutrition related diseases
2.learn the risk factors associated with a diet
3.acquire specific knowledge for the assessment of nutritional status on target specific population groups related to different pathologies
4.acquire basic knowledge of nutritional counselling aimed at preventing or correcting the risk factors related to inappropriate eating behaviors and lifestyle depending on the pathology considered
5.know the different dietary approaches acknowledged in scientific literature
6.identify the most adequate nutritional therapy for different nosological categories within a multidisciplinary integrated treatment project.
7.correctly apply the principles of Dietetics and nutrition medical therapy according to the different diagnostic criteria
