Learning outcomes

The Course aims at providing a wide panorama on the main environmental management topics, adopting both a legal and economic perspective

Course contents

- Environmental law: principles and historical evolution
- European and national law for environmental protection and management
- Economic principles and environmental management
- Sustainable development and economich growth
- Sectoral policies
- Case studies

Teaching methods

- Frontal lessons from academicians, civil servants and business representatives
- Presentation of case studies

Assessment methods

Final dissertation on one of the topics investigated during the frontal lessons. Students must display an autonomous capacity to re-elaborate concepts and topics examined during the course.
