Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide the theoretical basis on correct nutrition in various physiological situations and during physical activity or sports practice. The methodologies for studying the state of nutrition are also explained with particular reference to the study of body composition. At the end of the course the student will be able to understand the nutritional needs of subjects in physiological conditions and provide the guidelines for adequate nutrition. The student will also have the tools to assess the need for referral to a nutrition specialist and to work in an interdisciplinary team.
