Learning outcomes
Introduction to the principles and foundations of business economics with insights into taxonomies and definitions of economic organization, with particular reference to firms, and the logic of business disciplines (1st module).

Introduction to the logic and related applications regarding periodic processes of valuation and reporting of net income, capital and cash flow. Introduction to accounting processes (2nd module).
Course contents
- The system of economic activities.

- The concepts of production, business, market and industry.

- Definitions and characteristics of production and business organizations.

- Administration, management, strategies and organization.

- Management and reporting activities: reporting period, and productive processes.

- Monetary exchange and values: financial and economic values.

- Income and capital. Management profiles: income, capital and financial profile.

- Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
