Learning outcomes
The Psychology of social cognition investigates both cognitive mechanisms and neural basis of our social behaviour, that is, the ability to recognize, understand and relate to others. Students will have the opportunity to learn and discuss the most recent topics inherent to research on the social brain.
Course contents
The Autism Spectrum Disorder will be presented and discussed along with the ability to attribute mental states to others, the ability to feel emotions, and the ability to empathize. Different clinical tests will be presented.
Teaching methods
Blended lectures live online and in the classroom with small groups (in line with the protocol for COVID19 safety)
