Prerequisites
The Epidemiological and Territorial Nursing course, developed during the base degree, is preparatory to the NURSING AND MIDWIFERY IN COMMUNITIES course, that takes place in the master's degree.
A beginner section of the NURSING AND MIDWIFERY IN COMMUNITIES master's course, aims to structure a conceptual and language base to standardize basic knowledge
The course focuses on health promotion’s concept, its role in educational activities and it’s PREPARED to the GENERAL EDUCATIONAL AND SPECIAL EDUCATION course
Learning outcomes
The course aims to promote the exploration of concepts, theories and patterns about health and disease in order to create the conditions for re-elaborating, through the lens of salutogenesis, the nursing and obstetrics functions, related to primary health care and primary and secondary prevention. Such reflection on health care, boosted by scientific evidence emerging from the most recent research, is considered to be the fundamental basis for the development of nursing/obstetrics, training, organization and implementation of project activities, the research.
