Learning outcomes
The aim is to provide students with the conceptual methods for the analysis of bioethical judgements
Course contents
After an introduction to the subject and method of bioethics, the course will deal with the following topics: the autonomy of the patient and his right to refuse medical treatment; the problem of involuntary psychiatric treatment; the duty to relieve pain; euthanasia and assisted suicide; the role of ethical committees.
Teaching methods
Philosophical analysis; dialogue; case-studies.

The examination texts will be communicated during the lectures
