Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the tools necessary to the understanding of the major diseases of internal medicine, especially those which may appear in pregnancy, complicating the course of pregnancy and childbirth.
Course contents
Management and organization of care of pregnant women with signs/symptoms affecting different apparatus, in particular with dyspnoea, cough, hemoptysis, pleural effusion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, fever, jaundice, abdominal effusion, syncope, coma, high blood pressure, bleeding diathesis, thrombophilic diathesis, anemia, acute renal failure and chronic, hematuria, urinary tract infection, diabetes mellitus, disturbance of acid-base balance and electrolyte disturbances.
