Learning outcomes
is intended for students with little or no programming experience. It aims to provide students with an understanding of the role computation can play in solving problems and to help students, regardless of their major, feel justifiably confident of their ability to write small programs that allow them to accomplish useful goals.

Teaching methods
During each lecture, the instructor will work with a 'hands-on' approach. Script will be run during the lecture and the students are asked to follow along with their own computer

The course will mainly follow ad hoc material and online github which will be presented during the lectures.
Assessment methods
Quzzes (midterm and final one) and problem set which involve programming in Python.

A significant portion of the material for this course will presented only in lecture, so students are expected to regularly attend lectures.
