Learning outcomes
To better follow the course the student must have already acquired an adequate basic immunology preparation
Course contents
The aim of the course is to understand the role of the interaction between cells and/or molecules (cytokines, chemokines and receptors) of the immune system with the cells of the nervous system in particular conditions: normal, experimental and pathological. The origins and development of neuroimmunology, the relationships between the immune system and the brain, the antigen-presenting cells in the central nervous system, the killer cells, the paraneoplastic neurologic syndromes, the role of Cerebrospinal fluid, astrocytic tumors, tumor escape mechanism and immunotherapy of gliomas.
Teaching methods
The course is based on lectures complemented by seminars of in-depth and topical. We recommend the attendance to lessons and teachers are available for clarification on the topics discussed in the lesson.

From this year there is a teaching pantry of neuroimmunology prepared by the teachers of the course.
Assessment methods
The examination consists of an individual oral test to better evaluate the preparation, the language ownership and the acquisition of "Skills " in the field Neuroimmunologico
