Module 2. The concept of quality and quality management. Standardization and certification. The ISO 9000 family of standards. Role of the brand in the movement of goods and in communication with the user, the CE mark.
Environmental quality: the relationship between economy and environment, environmental policies, the concept of sustainability and sustainable development. Environmental management systems and the ISO 14000 family of standards for environmental certification, EMAS registration, the integration of ISO / EMAS.
The relationship between environmental quality and total quality.
The labeling. The LCA methodology for sustainable design.
