Prerequisites
An adequate knowledge of the human physiology is needed.
Learning outcomes
The course aims to make the student able to know how to tackle a diagnostic problem.
The objective is to teach to acquire the method of relief and evaluation of elements which can constitute the basis of the diagnosis.
The stages are:
-Approach to the patient as indispensable tool not only for the correct acquisition of the information but for any subsequent intervention
-Collection of history in order to: know what are the symptoms for which the patient comes to the doctor; know the characteristics of the patient from the inheritance point of view, ways of life, physiological functions; know the previous medical history
-Collection of signs through physical examination: the student must be able to systematically verify the morphological characteristics and the proper functioning of the various organs and systems.
