None. However, to better learning it is suggested to have followed the course of Physical Geography and Cartography (I year)
Learning outcomes
To learn basic knowledge of cartography and cartographic sampling methods in the field; to use and to apply in a basic way GIS software; to analyse and manage data of first and second level.
The course is addressed to learn a useful tool with the aim of sustainable management of natural resources. This also to reach the goals of 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, particularly the n.13 (“Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts”), n.14 (“Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources”), and n.15 (“Sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, halt biodiversity loss”).
Course contents
Practical application of the knowledge learned in the Part 1 of the course to data provided concerning animal and plant. Spatial analysis and based on attributes. Graphical representation and elaboration of thematic maps
