To give knowledge about dendroecological methods in the study of environment
Course contents
Some dendroecological topics are discussed with the students attending the course in order to plan the subject of the laboratory activities. The selected subject is developed by the following typical steps:
- Introduction to the theme, identification of the crucial questions, bibliographic research
- Methods for sampling
- Samples preparation
- Measurements
- Graphical and/or statistical synthesis of data
- Preliminary interpretation and discussion of results

Assessment methods
In order to obtain the certificate of attendance the student have to attend to all the steps foreseen by the laboratory activities. A written report may be required.
