Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the knowledge of the main changes in hemostasis (congenital and acquired) and medical treatment
Course contents
Primary hemostasis: • Role of blood flow, vascular wall and platelet • Coagulation and fibrinolysis: • Coagulation cascade, • Fibrin-formation, • Fibrinolytic system. • Hemostasis screening tests, • Clotting factors, • Hemorrhagic diathesis: • Thrombophilic diathesis: • Laboratory evaluation of hemorrhagic and thrombophilic diathesis.

Assessment methods
