Learning outcomes
The student must learn the approach to the patient who must undergo an implant surgery, compilation of implant records, compilation of the complete medical records of master data and medical history, diagnosis of edentulous cases, execution of intraoral radiography, panoramic radiography and CBCT concepts,dental x-ray interpretation, execution of local anesthesia, use of clinical and surgical instruments , preparation of the surgical patient, patient management at discharge, drugs prescription, reorganization of the study and disinfection of medical instruments and chair, environmental sanitation, the dental emergency management, management of the patient at risk.
Course contents
The student must attend daily at the times of the clinic activity attending the start of clinical activity until discharge last patient of the day. It must also perform the maneuvers and performance that are supervised by the tutors.
Teaching methods
Activities on the patient in the dental environment provided of all the instruments and necessary equipment.

Assessment methods
Each student is subjected to clinical practice tests on implant patient preparation and local anesthesia techniques.
Further information
Every student must wear the uniform provided of the logo of the University and of the Clinic, must comply with rules of order, cleanliness and personal hygiene and during the clinical activity or direct assistance must use disposable gloves, mask and eye protection.
