Teaching does not require specific prior knowledge.

The course aims to stimulate the student to reflect on the relevance
concrete aspects of the economic aspects of any business and professional activity
and on the need for a solid conceptual basis in the field of
economics.

The course introduces the basic concepts of business administration declined
in its three dimensions: management, organization, and recognition. In
particular, the following topics are covered in the course: institutions and
companies; the economic subject; the institutional structure and purposes of
institute; computational techniques in the system of
business records; accounting records and financial statements.
The course then provides an overview of the application of the company model in the health care context.

Teaching is structured in face-to-face lectures. The
didactics is based
on the combination of theoretical arguments with exercises and
case studies in order
to obtain a full understanding of the issues that are the subject of the
course.

Teaching materials provided by the lecturer.
Any university textbook on business administration is suitable as a
reference text.

Written test, consisting of 32 multiple-choice questions.

This teaching contributes to the realization of the UN goals
of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
