Prerequisites
Human anatomy, human histology, genetic, general pathology, phisiology
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students will be able to understand the role of the pathological anatomy and of the ancillary techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of the main diseases and they will be able to recognise the histopathological changes related to these conditions.
They will also learn the molecular bases of the oncogenetic mechanisms, the main analysis techniques, and the diagnostic, prognostic and predictive role of the molecular study in oncology. Lastly, they will learn the principles of electronic microscopy and some of its diagnostic applications.
