Learning outcomes
The student must acquire knowledge about the fundamental principles of general psychology and communication techniques. They must also know the fundamental bases of the processes underlying the emotional relationship and non-verbal communication
Course contents
Introductory notes: questions, theoretical and historical assumptions.
- The representation of the body
- The cognition of pain
- Non-verbal communication
- communicate and understand emotions
- Ethological approach and more: the theory of attachment. Studies and research
- Prenatal skills: research and observation. The lines of development: what support does the midwife offer to the mother / child dyad.
- The intervention and support of the midwife in normal development. Individual variables: such as interventions to improve harmony and synchrony in mother / child routines.
