Anatomy, embriology and phisiology knowledges of oral environment, teeth and temporo-mandibular joint

Learning outcomes

Basic knowledges of dentistry related to the overall patient health.

Course contents

Anatomy, embriology and histology basic knowledges Teeth eruption. Evolution of the dentition. Dental and skeletal Class. Malocclusions.
Dental caries: prevention and complications; oral hygiene.
Acute and chronic pulpitis. Acute and chronic dental apex pathology
Dental trauma. Dental Radiology.
Parodontal diseases and their correlations to systemic diseases. Bisphosphonates and maxillary necrosis. Oral mucosa diseases and precancerous lesions.
