Aim of the course is to provide key basic concepts on hygiene, preventive medicine and public health, with particular reference their application in medicine and surgery.

General concepts of hygiene, preventive medicine and public health, with particular reference to their implementation in sport sciences: determinants of health, levels of prevention, health promotion, health education

Elements of health legislation, policy and management applied to the areas of interest of medicine and surgery.
