Prerequisites
Teaching is in a scientific area other than medical science and at an intruductive level. Consequently, no specific prior knowledge is required. Basic economic knowledge is the subject of the teaching itself.
Learning outcomes
The main objective of the course is the understanding of the approach of economics and business administration to human behavior and the acquisition of a technical vocabulary for the treatment of health care activities according to business economic logic.
Course contents
Economics and Business Economics.
The economic behavior of individuals: needs, aspirations, economic goods, economic activity, factors of production, inputs, outputs of production.
Companies and economic institutions.
The monetary exchange.
The company and the health care system.
