2 Notions of demography: census, population structure indices, population pyramid, Lexis's curve
3 Mortality and birth rate data, notification of infectious diseases, hospital sources, pathology records
4 Epidemiological frequency measures (punctual prevalence, periodic prevalence, incidence,
cumulative incidence, person/time incidence, attack rate)
5 Statistical associations and cause-and-effect associations (risk measures and population impact measures, odds-ratio)
6 Diagnostic tests and screening campaigns, characteristics of screening tests (Sensitivity, specificity and predictive values of a test)
