Prerequisites
The student must have acquired skills on physiologic pregnancy, physiologic birth assistance, cardiotocography
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student must know:
- physiologic pregnancy
- physiologic delivery and post-partum
Course contents
The course is divided into 3 modules: Physiology of pregnancy and Neonatology; Organisation of the job; Advanced obstetrics methods; Special Obstetrical Nursing;
The module of Physiology of pregnancy focus on the following topics:
- Modification of marternal organism during pregnancy
- Follow up of pregnancy
- Physiologic delivery
- stages of the labour
Cardiotocography
- Cord arterial pH
Teaching methods
The most of the lessons will be theoretical lessons, with interactive discussion of clinical cases

Assessment methods
The exam is oral for the module of Physiology of pregnancy. The student must demonstrate that he has achieved the training objectives of the course. The final grade will be the weighted average among four modules.
