Prerequisites
Prerequisites: Advanced knowledge in the following areas: fixed and mobile prostheses, dental materials and biomaterials, oral surgery techniques, advanced radiology techniques, forensic medicine, patients at risk
Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes: Ability to set up a prosthetic diagnostic plan, to propose alternative prosthetic solutions and plans, taking into account the patient's expectations, the level of collaboration, the general state of health of the indications and contraindications. Knowing how to communicate with the patient to obtain valid informed consent. Knowing how to set an adequate flap, choose between sinus lift, bone regeneration techniques, make a choice between submerged and non-submerged implants, between different macro and micro surfaces, between immediate and deferred loading. Knowing how to manage intra and post-operative complications. Knowing how to diagnose and manage peri-implantitis.
