Prerequisites
Knowledge of laboratory medicine, genetics, molecular biology, physiology and clinical pathophysiology are required.
Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the tools necessary for the understanding of the main hematological diseases, with particular reference to diseases requiring a personalized diagnostic and therapeutic approach in dental patient.
Course contents
Diseases responsible for anemia responsible, hemorrhagic diathesis, thrombophilic diathesis. Oncohaematological disease (myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative syndromes, leukemia, lymphoma).
Teaching methods
Teaching sessions supported by slides.
