Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to show several applications of scientific computing through the use of software such as Matlab or other programming languages.

Course contents

The main topics are:

- functions and data approximation

- non linear equations and optimisation

- numerical integration

- numerical approximation of ordinary differential equations.
