Course contents
After introducing the basic concepts of set theory and the numerical sets of natural, integer, rational, real and complex numbers, the fundamental topics in Mathematical Analysis will be introduced: concept of function, properties of functions of one real variable, limits of real functions, continuous functions, differentiation,
graphical representation of functions, integration, exponential and logarithmic functions, logarithmic scale representation, matrices and linear systems.
Simple models of biological and chemical phenomena governed by first order ordinary differential equations will be also studied.
