Obiettivi formativi
The aims of the course are to prepare 5th-year students to a broad understanding of the most common infectious diseases and their clinical management, covering viral, bacterial and parasitic diseases. Global epidemiology of the major infectious diseases and public health implications will also be covered.
At the end of the course, students should be able to recognize the typical clinical presentations of major infectious diseases (see below) and to develop a basic knowledge of the main treatment regimens.

Genitourinary Infections and Sexually Transmitted Diseases: Urinary Tract Infections, Upper and Lower, Syphilis, Pelvic Inflammatory D, Genital Ulcers
