The target of the course will be gain an effective knowledge of the diagnostic and the therapeutic processes involved in treating neurosurgical patients. This knowledge will be indispensable to the future physicians not specifically trained in Neurosurgery to seek neurosurgical assistance for their patients when appropriate, and discuss with the neurosurgeon her/his diagnostic and therapeutic indications.

By attending to the lectures and seminars the student will be able to reach a sufficient knowledge of Neurosurgery to fulfill the requirements of the exam.
